Dealing with plastic bags

We know plastic bags don’t belong in recycling bins, you might be wondering what to do with them. You can toss them in the garbage, but keep in mind they take a long time to photodegrade – up to 500 years according to experts as well as endangering the wildlife.

 If you do not want to create more waste, there are two things you can consider doing. The first one is to keep the plastic bags and reuse the ones you already have. Some communities and countries have places where you can recycle plastic bags to create new plastic bags and composite lumber.
